Quarantine Projects

The past two days I decided to paint my moms fox statues at the barn. They were almost fully withered white before this lol! I absolutely love painting and it was a fun project to do on the farm. Next I’ll be painting the jumps! This quarantine has allowed us to slow down here and work on projects around the farm. As much as we miss our clients, when they are able to come back the barn will be looking wonderful for them! ❀️

Must buy book!

You ever have a really rough day.

A day where you can’t get out of the funk your in. Your struggling internally and don’t even know why. Where your head feels so heavy and clouded?

Well if anyone can relate, I had one of those days recently and I decided after the barn to go to target because I was still feeling out of sorts and walking around stores helps get my mind off things. While there, I was drawn to the book section and the first book I saw I recognized because @charliemackesy is one of my favorite illustrators and I’ve wanted this book since it was released. It was the last one on the shelf and I had to purchase it. I went home, dove into it, and I’m so glad I did.

This is such a wonderful heartfelt book that really hits home and made me tear up a bit because it was exactly what I needed to read that night. It truly helped and I highly recommend this book to anyone of age. It’s perfect. The illustrations are incredible and the words are so relatable to daily life and struggles. My son and I read it again last night and it made his heart so happy. He loves the mole and of course wants a mole stuffed animal to go with his fox and horse he already loves. I told him the little boy and horse reminds me of him and his pony and he smiled and said he loved this book so much. This book is a must buy, you won’t regret it. It is a new favorite to dive into in our house! Thank you @charliemackesy for creating such a lovely book. πŸ’›

New year, Slow down.

It’s been a while.

Life has been busy and some times you just need to sit and relax before moving again. (Even if it’s in your breeches & boots) 😜 Remember to take time to yourself and give time to those around you. I have been really taking time to focus on my family more and I’ve been working on my goals this year. I get drained and burnt out easily when it comes to social media and when I have a lot on my plate and it’s so important to take care of yourself first. Remember, social media can be draining and it’s ok to not post all the time. It’s ok to take a step back and find your roots again. πŸ’›

Obsessed with these cubbies for storage from @Pinterest. I would love this as part of an entryway. Especially with the saddle stand but I’m thinking a wood stand for it with a cubby underneath to store leather cleaner!
